Omega Ranch from Campground to Outdoor Adventure Parks

``At Omega Ranch We Love Outdoor Recreation And Just Plain Wholesome Family Fun``

Campground Past And Future Parks Plans

Omega Ranch Outdoor Adventure opened as a campground in 2007. From the beginning the property was a place for families to come and experience the wholesomeness of the great outdoors.

Our campground property was already home to many different species of flora and fauna that immediately set the backdrop for what was about to come. Alongside this natural backdrop were two gorgeous lakes and multiple ponds and streams.

Before opening the ranch we added access roads and clearings that would set the stage for multiple amenities to come. Over the last few years an ATV Park, Solar powered Cabin village, ATV and Motocross trails, Camp sites, Survival Training, Team Building, obstacle and challenge courses that containing walls, webs, pole crossings, cable walks, and mud if you want to get dirty, three conference centers that hold 30 – 150 people which are screened in and contain inverters for projectors, lights, and fans, 2 large bathroom facilities, cabins with showers and toilets, quiet RV sites nestled along tree lined areas, lakes, and fields, and an Archery Training and practice Range have been added to the campground.

Over the next few years we plan on adding zip lines and ropes courses, jet skis, more ATV trails, Mountain bike trails, and airsoft and laser tag arena, and a 250 acre event field to host large music and community festivals. Omega Ranch Outdoor Adventure is committed to becoming the premier destination to experience outdoor life in Central Florida.

Who began Omega Ranch Campground?

Stan Smith, began Omega Ranch Outdoor Adventure in 2007. Stan decided to open the campground after he spent 6 years deep in the Amazon Jungle on a mission trip with his family. He and his family adapted everything they needed for survival; making homemade bows and arrows, fishing reels and even engine parts made from washers out of tree bark. They’ve eaten just about everything, the Amazon would provide, including delicious piranha.

His experience in the Amazon brought Stan to the conclusion that urban survival is much harder than survival in the woods. Along with Stans outdoor experiences, he has an extensive background in real estate development and directing youth programs with a strong emphasis on agricultural activities and protecting the environment.

The path that Stan’s life has taken him has granted him the creative force necessary to succeed as program director of Omega ranch. Stan, in his “free time” facilitates several mud runs, is an active member of numerous local hunting, shooting and survival groups, enjoys family time, is active in ministry, travels on domestic and international mission trips, ATV’s, plays soccer along with lots of other outdoor recreation.
