You can watch videos and animations to help you through the situation. You can also find very helpful safety tips in case there is any weather disasters. All you have to do is enter in your location, then search through all of these unknown adventures to find the perfect one for you and your family. REI Co-Op National Parks Guide

This is a stellar app that offers users all types of information about the hike descriptions and trail data for the most popular National Parks across the United States. You can learn about parks like Yosemite, Yellowstone, and many other popular locations. You can access this information even if you are online and it uses the built-in GPS to show you your location on the maps. You can even find a list of all of the family friendly hikes so that you can enjoy a great hike with your loved ones. 

USFS and BML Campgrounds

If you forgot to make reservations, this could be the app that you need. This app helps you search through over 5,800 campgrounds throughout the United States to find some place to camp out while you are out on your outdoor adventure. A lot of these campsites are either free or far less expensive than other more popular and better developed sites. This is an iOS only app.
